FT Nanny - JC 0409 - Mt. Prospect - 50 Hours/Weekly - TEMPORARY

Temporary Nanny Opportunity for a Loving Mount Prospect Family with One Toddler

📍 Location: Mount Prospect, IL
🗓️ Start Date: ASAP
⏳ End Date: May 2025 (with the possibility of becoming a permanent role)
💰 Pay: $28/hour + PTO (vacation, personal, sick & holiday)

Schedule:

• Guaranteed 50 hours per week
• Monday-Friday: 7:40 AM - 5:30 PM or 6:15 PM (depending on parents' work-from-home schedule)

👨‍👩‍👧 About Our Family:
We’re a warm, loving family in Mount Prospect seeking a nurturing and proactive nanny for our joyful 2-year-old. We’re looking for someone who will engage our child in fun, educational activities, support their developmental milestones, and help create a positive environment where they can thrive. While this is initially a temporary role, there is potential for it to become permanent.

✨ Key Responsibilities:
🟢 Childcare Duties:

• Provide attentive, loving care for a curious and active toddler.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
• Support nap times and monitor sleep routines.
• Plan fun, developmentally appropriate activities to foster learning and growth.
• Assist with achieving developmental milestones.
• Change diapers and assist with bathing as needed.

🟢 Household Support:

• Keep the child’s bedroom and play areas tidy and organized.
• Clean and sanitize child’s dishes and utensils.
• Handle child’s laundry and maintain organization. 
• Assist with light household tasks related to the child.
• Family is currently living in a rental apartment while home is being renovated—will be back in their home by March 13TH 2025. 🏡
• Both parents work from home two days a week in separate spaces. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.

Additional Requirements:

• 🚗 Safe driving record and ability to use own vehicle (driving required for this role).
• 💉 Flu vaccination preferred but not required.
