Job Description: LaGrange family seeking an experienced Nanny for their three children! Start as soon as possible.

Schedule: Guaranteed 43 hours a week. Scheduled hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:15am-5:00pm.

Compensation: $1,000/weekly + vacation, holidays, sick days.

Job Details and Responsibilities:

Three children: a 5-year-old in full-time school, a 3-year-old in part-time preschool (M-Th, mornings) and a 6-month-old who is at home full-time. Care will mainly be for the 3-year-old and 6-month-old.
Primary responsibilities are the day-to-day care of the children including dropping off/picking up from school, playtime, meal prep and bottles, changing diapers, taking the children on walks and to activities (parks, museums, library, etc.) and arranging playdates/outings.
Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing the children’s areas, children’s laundry, washing children’s dishes (also loading/unloading the dishwasher), and keeping track of the children’s needs (diapers, wipes, snacks, etc.).
Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding child development and milestones (potty training, motor skills, etc.). Should be able to provide developmentally appropriate activities.
One parent works from home full-time and one works from home part-time. When parents work from home, they will be in a separate workspace.

Qualifications:

Nanny should have extensive, verifiable nannying experience.
Nanny should be high-energy and is able to handle three energetic children!
Nanny should be warm, caring, and patient. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the child and the family.
Nanny should be self-sufficient and organized. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and anticipate family's needs.
Reliable and communicative. Is open to feedback and comfortable giving it as well.
Driving is required for the position. Nanny should have a safe driving record. Nanny will need to provide their own vehicle.
